Professional Experience and Activities:

• Worked on “Clinical Evaluation of Uttara Basti ( Intra-Vesical instillation of Medicines) in the Management of benign Prostatic Hyperplasia” during MD and was the first student of the Department to work on Intra-Vesical instillation of a specially prepared Ayurvedic formulation. Also used a special preparation made from the silk of CORN, orally.
• Worked with renowned surgeons of Hubli and developed medicines for the management of Diabetic Wounds.
• Guiding Post-graduate scholars in developing Research Proformas and Formulations in various diseases.
• Actively involved in developing the clinic at London and in developing research proposals and formulations on diabetes, hypertension, cancer and osteo-porosis etc.
• Conducted various CME programmes for Ayurvedic Physicians and Students of London on Management of Osteo-Arthritis, Diabetes, Skin Diseases, Respiratory Diseases etc.
• Actively involved in preparing different formulations for patients suffering from various conditions.
• Experience of running an AYURVEDIC DIET CENTRE, through which customized food was supplied to patients of a reputed hospital at Hubli, after assessing their needs.

• Collecting various Research Articles on Herbs and Other Ayurvedic Formulations from different Print and Electronic Media.
• Conducting Workshops for Awareness of HERBAL MEDICINES with the help of Traditional Healers and Herb Collectors.

• Presented a Paper titled “ Some Case Studies of Dilution of Ayurvedic Remedies in the West”, in an International Conference on Dilution of Ayurveda in the West, conducted by The British Ayurvedic Medical Association and The British Association of Accredited Ayurvedic Practitioners, at London in 2003.
• Presented a Paper on Scientific Terminology in Ayurveda at a National Level Seminar conducted by the Scientific Terminology Council, India in 2003.

• Participated in the DEVELOPMENT DIALOGUE on “THRIVING IN ECOSYSTEM” organized by the Deshpande Foundation, Hubli from 15^th to 17^th  January 2012.
• Attended workshop on RTI (RIGHT TO INFORMATION) ACT at Deshpande Foundation, Hubli.

• Invited by Bhoruka Charitable trust to conduct a Workshop session as a part of Caregivers Training Program through INCHARA – Foster Care Program on “DIET & NUTRITION” to 67 mothers infected or affected by HIV, on the 8^th of April 2011.

• Presented a paper titled “HEALTH AND HERBS” at the National Level Seminar on Organic Farming and Terrace Gardening, organized by the Deshpande Foundation, Hubli on 8^th and 9^th of July 2011.
• Organized a three day workshop for I Prof BAMS Students – VISION 2020 at Sri DGM Ayurvedic Medical College, Hospital & Research Centre Gadag in Dec 2011.
• Organized a three day Orientation Workshop for I PG Scholars of Sri DGM Ayurvedic Medical College, Hospital & Research Centre, Gadag in Dec 2012.
• Invited as “Jury” by The Himalaya Drug Company for their Paper Presentation Competition for PG Scholars held at Ayurvedic Medical College, Koppal on 18^th March 2014.

4. Represented Ayurveda College in “Aids Awareness Camp” at Dharwar, 1991(N.S.S.) and won 1^st prize in the “Poster Presentation” competition.
5. Participated in skits, dramas, dances, quiz competition in School and College.
6. Participated and won several prizes in Cooking, Rangoli, and Painting Competitions.
