Objectives:

Teaching & practice of Ayurveda. (The traditional system of health and well being)

Personal profile:

Ever since graduated (1984) in above science started practising it and spreading the cause of health preservation, promotion, longevity, rejuvenation and spirituality through, education, training, teaching, conferences, throughout the world from mother land India, now in UK and Europe.

Education:

  1. Conferred a PhD in the subject of Dravyaguna’ the Materia medica of Ayurveda, the herbs and their efficacy in fertility inducing and promoting, during the year 1996. Tenure of PhD, term resumed since from 1990-1992, at Gujarat Ayurveda University, Jamnagar, Gujarat in India.
  2. MD (Doctor of Medicine) in Ayurveda Post graduation degree earned through from Gujarat Ayurveda University during the years from 1985-1988.
  3. BAMS (Bachelor’s degree in Ayurveda) from Osmania University, Hyderabad during 1978-1984.

Employment:

  Director—Association of Ayurveda Academy-London-UK

  1. As a lecturer in Ayurveda at Chaitanya Ayurveda Maha vidyalaya under North Maharastra University, Bhusawal, Maharastra, India during 1992-1996.
  2. Assistant Professor, (1996-97) at NK Jabshetty Ayurveda college, Bidar, Karnataka, India under affiliation with the Rajiv Gandhi University of Health sciences, Bangalore.
  3. Professor, PG faculty head, Principal at ALN Rao Memorial Ayurveda College, Koppa, Karnataka, India during 1997-2000. (Rajiv Gandhi University of Health sciences)
  4. As an Academic consultant for University of Kelaniya, Sri Lanka, during 2000-2001.
  5. Tutor, at Thames valley University, Ealing Broadway, London, teaching Ayurveda for BA (Hons) degree program during 2001-2002.
  6. Continue as a senior Lecturer, till today at College of Ayurveda UK Ltd. Milton Keynes Now and also did teach at Middlesex University, London.

 Professional Body & Memberships:

  1. Currently a member in CThA (Complementary therapeutic Association) in London and also with the AMA (Ayurveda Medical Association UK)
  2. Under above insured for practice of Ayurveda in UK.
  3. Was a member executive also in APA (Ayurveda practitioners Association), BAAP (British Accredited Ayurveda practitioners) through employment under Ayurveda company of Great Britain (ACGB)
  4. As a member in AAAP, (American Ayurveda Association of Practitioners) USA.
  5. Held related several membership organisations throughout in the past.

Skills:

  1. Ability to teach and train in all 08 branches/subjects of Ayurveda.
  2. Speak several languages of India, such as Telugu, Kannada, Hindi, Marathi, Gujarathi and teach in Sanskrit along with the transliterations in English language.
  3. Association and experience in with the related subjects of Ayurveda such as spiritual sciences, Darshanas, Vedic wisdom, Rituals etc., to perform and also teach Yoga.
  4. Preparations/formulations of Ayurveda medicinal/dietary and training in life style and diet management through in Ayurveda.
  5. Ability to do Pancha karma procedures and treat/cure many ailments apart from prevention and health promotion through in Ayurveda.
  6. Spreading the cause of Ayurveda throughout the Globe by attending/participating in related seminars/conferences, guest lectures, training programs in UK, Croatia at the moment and would like to extend it to Germany, France, Belgium, Portugal and Netherlands in near future.
  7. Published few books: Chamatkara Nighantu, and articles in Present & Future of prevention’ USA, in International Journals etc.
