Prof. Dr.Harshavardhan Appaji Kalapati BAMS, MD Panchakarma has been a dedicated Ayurvedic physician consultant, Panchakarma specialist, educator and teacher for over 17 years.  He began his nine-year course of study in Ayurveda at Dr.N.T.R University of Health Sciences, Andhra Pradesh, where he earned his BAMS, and continued his post graduation studies at University of Kerala, Trivandrum, Kerala, India where he earned the degree of  Doctor of Medicine in Panchakarma (Ayurveda). He is also further having the DHA, Diploma in Hospital Administration (NILEM) at Chennai (2002). Dr.Harshavardhan offers Ayurvedic consultations, and panchakarma  therapies, at his clinic at Hyderabad 2007 and thereby he joined at KPSVS ayurveda medical college, Manvi, Karnataka as lecturer in panchakarma 2007 and after few months later  he joined as Lecture 2008 and promoted as Associate Professor on 2010 and promoted as Professor/ Reader PG on 2019 at TTD’s S.V.Ayurvedic medical college, Tirupati still continuing in PG department in panchakarma and discharge the duties as Guide to PG scholars.

 In india Dr.Harshavardhan has been Participated as Resource person, RAPOURTER, Chair person and keynotespeaker, invited Lead speaker and co chairperson in several RAV CMEs for AYUSH Teachers, Medical officers in  National and International seminars in AYURVEDA, in various prestigious universities BHU varanasi,SVU, KLE karnataka,University of Kerala,RGUHS, Aluvas, ,Datta meghe University,Mumbai etc. 

At Abroad Dr.Harshavardhan Participated As Featured Speaker, Keynote speaker, Special Guest Speaker, Chairperson, Advisor and co-ordinator & published papers in journals at  International Seminars  at LONDON, UK 2017 & TASHKENT, UZBEKISTAN,  & BALI, INDONESIA 2018 & AEGINA, GREECE 2019, DUBAI,UAE 2019 Conducted By Europe Ayurveda Academy & Global Ayurveda Conferences LLC,U.S.A, AAPNA, Vishwa Ayurveda Parishad & Vishwa Hindi Manch & Medicinal Practices: Herbal, Holistic and Traditional Conference Series llc Ltd,47 Churchfield Road, London, W3 6AY, UK. 

Dr.Harshavardhan  has been written articles related to panchakarma & ayurveda in various magazines SAPTAGIRI, the HEALTH and various National & International peer reviewd journals and he was Research Assocoiate & Editor to ARSHAS BOOK. He is also working as Expert Member of BOARD OF STUDIES (BOS) in Ayurveda PG to RGUHS& External Evaluater of Research Proposals of Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences, Jayanagar, Banglore, Karnataka from 8/06/2018 onwards. 

And he has been Actively participated in several Free medical camps conducted by TTD’s GOVINDAKALYANAMS & Lokakalyanams in very remote areas in Andhrapradesh as well as in GODAVARI and KRISHNA PUSHKARAMS during 2008 to 2017 & Actively participated as a emergency doctor in Free-Emergency medical camps at Tsunami resque dr at kerala 26th  Dec2004, Chennai floods during 2016 & Kerala floods 2018 August conducted by TTD and SVAy.hospital  & Sri Sambamurthy charitable trust & other trusts.

He is also DR NTR UHS NSS AREA Programme officer for the Rayalaseema area from 2015, As NSS programme officer at our college regular activities conducting  swachabharath’s and International yoga days, blood donations, Vanam manam, self defence programmes, etc during 2011-2018 

Dr.Harshavardhan has been Awarded as BEST WRITER By THE HEALTH MAGAZINE Hyderabad 2007, and also He has got the Award “VAIDYA RATNA” title 2017 by Honarable Ex-C.M of Andhrapradesh & Ex. Tamilnadu Governer DR. K.ROSAIAH, and He has got  SHIKSHAK SADHANA AWARD at TASHKENT, UZBEKISTAN 2018 & VISHWA AYURVEDA GOWRAV SAMMAN AWARD at DUBAI,UAE 2019 in International Conferences-given by Vishwa Ayurveda Parishad   & Vishwa Hindi Manch and “BEST DOCTOR AWARD” received from Chief Minister of Andhrapradesh Shri N. CHANDRABABU NAIDU at Secretariat,  Amaravaty 2018, Recently Guest of honor Felicitation received from  Dr.NTR UHS Registrar Dr. Bheemeswar Rao at CME, Vijayawada conducted by National Medical Association (NMA) on 22.09.2019.
